Legacy Society charter membership drive
We are pleased to announce that membership enrollment in the Legacy Society of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is currently at 81 people. Members include men and women who have made or intend to make a gift through their will or estate plan to benefit Christ’s mission at the seminary.
The Legacy Society is a new and exciting way for the seminary to connect with God’s people who have a heart for our gospel mission. Below, we have answered some questions you may have about membership.
Why should I join?
Your membership in the society will allow us to thank you today for your gifts of tomorrow. In addition, your public declaration of support can serve as an encouragement to others and as a witness to the value you place on the mission of your seminary.
What does membership mean for me?
Members will receive up-to-date news and information about seminary happenings, notice of campus events, an invitation to our annual Legacy Society gathering, and a special gift of thanks.
Who is eligible for membership?
Eligible members include:
1. Those who have remembered the seminary in their will or estate plan.
2. Those who have arranged for a planned gift to the seminary from a life insurance policy.
3. Those who have designated the seminary as beneficiary of retirement benefits (IRA, 401k, or Keogh).
4. Those establishing a gift annuity, a charitable remainder trust, or other qualified agreement that later benefits the seminary.
