WLS hosts Red Cross blood drive

Students hosted a blood drive on Friday, November 2, 2007. Senior Jon Bare, who coordinated the event with the Red Cross, reported that 45 donors participated, surpassing the goal of 40 units of blood.

“Thanks to all who showed up to give blood. By God’s grace, it was a huge success and was also a wonderful witness to those on the outside. I heard several times from the women taking the blood and from the Red Cross coordinator how much they enjoyed coming. They could see our faith being practiced through our words and actions.”
