Michael J. Quandt was installed as Professor of Christian Education in a service of morning praise on November 12 in the seminary chapel. Pastor Peter Kruschel, administrator for the Board for Ministerial Education, preached on Haggai 1:13 under the theme Four Words That Change Everything. Prof. John Hartwig was the presiding minister. Pastor Thomas Westra, chairman of the governing board, read the rite of installation. Assisting ministers were governing board member Pastor Michael Woldt, seminary president Prof. Paul Wendland, and vice president Prof. Forrest Bivens.
Quandt graduated from the seminary in 1990 and was assigned as an instructor to West Lutheran High School in Minneapolis, MN. Since 1994 he had served as pastor to the members at Prince of Peace in Salt Lake City, Utah.
