Alumni meeting and symposium

The second annual meeting of WLS Alumni will take place on Monday, September 22, 2008, prior to the Symposium on the Church. All WLS graduates and all WELS pastors - active and retired - are invited to participate, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. The alumni organization exists to “further the bonds of friendship among its members and to encourage support of the mission of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.” A light lunch will be served following the meeting. The 2008 Symposium on the Church will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Guest presenters include: Pastor Jonathan Hein (1997), Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Summerville, S.C.; Pastor Charles Degner (1979), St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, Minn.; and Professor Thomas Nass (1982), Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn.
