Alumni meeting and symposium report

Members of WLS Alumni met in the chapel for their second annual meeting on Monday, September 22. President Daniel Balge presided with nearly 120 in attendance. Incumbents Earle Treptow and Carl Ziemer were re-elected as vice president and secretary, respectively. Members also ratified several constitutional changes, heard a presentation on the proposed seminary anniversary book, and discussed fund structure and giving opportunities. A more complete report will be posted at the alumni portion of the Web site in the near future.

The Symposium on the Church concluded Tuesday, September 23. Over 360 men were in attendance at the two-day continuing education event— the 2nd highest attendance ever.
