Currently five professors are working or studying off-campus. Professor Richard Gurgel is in Ljungby, Sweden, teaching at the seminary there. Professor Alan Siggelkow is teaching at Asia Lutheran Seminary in Hong Kong. Professor Allen Sorum, accompanied by 12 students, is doing outreach in Asheville, North Carolina, over Winterim. Professor John Schuetze and Kenneth Cherney are in Mexico with 6 students, studying Spanish. In a few days, Professor James Korthals will be off to Hong Kong to teach for an entire semester at Asia Lutheran Seminary.
