Greece and Turkey study tour

Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is offering a study tour to Turkey and Greece during Winterim in January, a tour which follows in the footsteps of St. Paul and also visits many of the cities addressed in the seven letters of Revelation. Even if you do not travel as a student and undertake curricular requirements, you are most welcome to join us on this trip.

The study tour will be January 2 through January 16. The trip will cost $2995 per person for students (those taking the trip for credit) and $3295 for all others. This price includes transportation (the flight departs from and returns to Chicago), lodging and two meals per day, as well as fees, taxes, and tips. For continuing education purposes, the following features are being planned:

• This is a tour that will involve academic requirements prior to and after the tour itself and will earn the student STM or MAR credits aside from the travel experiences to be gained. A WLS faculty member will be leading the trip, together with two faculty members from Wisconsin Lutheran College.

• A minimum of 20 to 25 participants will be required. This number may include regular WLS students participating in Winterim studies, WLC students, WELS called workers, family members, and any other interested participants.

Firm commitments from participants will be required by early October. Please see the Footsteps of Paul tour brochure for additional information. Direct any questions to on-campus coordinator Professor Steve Geiger at 262-242-8161 or geigers@wls.wels.net.

Note: A Rome extension is available for an additional $599. See the brochure for details.
