Southeastern Wisconsin District Conference to meet at WLS
The seminary is pleased to host the Southeastern Wisconsin (SEW) District Conference on June 7 & 8. Over 500 active and retired male called workers are expected to attend the conference which includes worship, Bible study, and a review of kingdom work as it is being done by the SEW district and the synod.
Under the theme, “God’s Plan for Us,” retired Martin Luther College Professor Daniel Deutschlander will present the keynote address. Board for Ministerial Education Administrator Paul Prange will preach at the opening service. Reports will be presented on the work of various areas of ministry. Select items from the upcoming synod convention agenda will be discussed — in particular, reports of the long range planning committee and the translation evaluation committee, the committee appointed to look into the new revision of the NIV.
