Summer Quarter

The seminary will once again offer a summer quarter of graduate and supplementary study from June 22 through July 10, 2009. These courses provide an opportunity for theological study and professional growth to men who are active in the pastoral ministry of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or of churches in its confessional fellowship. In addition, all male and female synodically certified workers of our fellowship, both staff ministers and teachers, are also invited to enroll in courses in the Master of Arts in Religion program.

This valuable continuing education opportunity has been offered to pastors and male teachers since 1972. While sessions had been open to audit by female called workers for many years, they were offered for credit for the first time in 2005. Historically, summer quarter courses were only offered in three-week sessions, but today, in response to the demands of ministry and family commitments, the seminary now offers more flexible one, two, or three week course options.

Applications for enrollment and for financial assistance will be accepted until April 1, 2009. For more information and registration materials, please visit us at www.wls.wels.net, or call 262.242.8100.
