Traveling professors

Prof. John Brug is in Hong Kong teaching at Asia Lutheran Seminary and the South Asian Lutheran Evangelical Mission. He is teaching three courses during the fall semester: the Doctrine of God, two sections of Poets and Prophets, and an Old Testament survey class. He will return to the U.S. on December 19.

Prof. John Brenner recently returned from Germany serving the WELS Committee on Inter-Church Relations as contact person for our sister synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Free Church (ELFK). In addition, he taught at the seminary in Leipzig.

This calendar year, four different professors have taught 153 students in Sweden, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Taiwan, Japan, and Malawi. Professor Kenneth Cherney, WLS world mission seminary professor, coordinates overseas teaching assignments in conjunction with the WELS Board for World Missions.
