Description: Friday – 1 Peter 5:1-6 “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Peter specifically applies this proverb to those who are shepherds of God’s people. As those who are willing to lead God’s flock we must not pursue dishonest gain or boast in the authority of our position. But rather, we all must clothe ourselves with humility and wait for God to lift us up in his chosen time.
