Description: Tuesday – Zephaniah 2:3; 3:11-13 The meek and the humble are those whom the Lord will save. Zephaniah did not say that the wealthy, the successful, or the strong would be delivered, but only those who seek righteousness and humility. That righteousness is only found in Christ and his merit, the gift that brings about humility. Those who are characterized by Jesus’ words in the Beatitudes will not be put to shame, and they have no need to fear the Lord’s punishment.
