Description: Monday – Luke 20:9-19 Accept and reject. God accepted Israel by the blood of Christ as his own. He compares his own to tenants of a vineyard. These tenants rejected have rejected their landlord. Israel rejected the Lord, and to make matters worse, the people in the Gospel account didn’t want to admit it; Israel in their history didn’t want to admit it. The account ends on a very sober note. We will have to wait for Isaiah to find a happier note.
